Star Export House is a recognition bestowed by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India which has at least 3 min USD export in the last three years (approx. Rs10 cr per annum). Star Export Houses located in Madhya Pradesh majorly having areas of Agro, Textile, Automobile, Plastic and Engineering. Last financial year i.e FY 21-22, exports from Madhya Pradesh crossed Rs 58,000/- cr which is the highest in the history.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has been making continuous efforts to develop the Startup Ecosystem in the state. To further these efforts, the state government released Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme 2022 on 23rd February 2022. On 13th May 2022, MP Startup Portal was launched by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to provide facilities under the policy to Startups and Incubation centers. In line with the same, MP Startup Centre (MPSC) has also been established by the state government by appointing experts from private sector. The main objective of MPSC is to coordinate with various stakeholders for the implementation of the scheme and to strengthen the startup ecosystem in the state through various initiatives.

From the year 2016 to 22nd February 2022, Startup India had recognized only 1800 start ups from the state of MP, but in the last 9 months after the release of the policy & due to the efforts of the state this number has increased to more than 2500.

The state is actively working with DPIIT and Startup India for the development of its startup ecosystem. In recognition of the same in the 'Startup Ranking of States 2021 released by Startup India, Madhya Pradesh got a place in the "Aspiring Leader" category, rising one notch from the "Emerging Startup Ecosystem category of 'Startup Ranking of States 2019.

In line with the objectives of the MP Startup Policy, we wish to provide 61 notable startups of MP a platform during Pravasi Bharatiya Divas through virtual presence on the event portal. The details of these 61 start ups are available in the attached file.
