This is regarding participation of overseas Indian diaspora members in the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2025, to be held in Odisha, Bhubaneswar from 8-10 January, 2025.
The Registration Link has been shared on the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) India Website and we request all overseas Indian diaspora members, Duty officials, supports staffs, Artis & Performers and Exhibitors to complete their registration at the earliest.
Any other person accompanying is also required to register on the PBD website. Request you to kindly follow the registration advisory to avoid any last-minute inconvenience at the event venue.
All PBD delegates/participants are required to pay the registration fee (except Government officials and Government of India's representatives/special invitees). In addition to individual registrations, Group registration facility can also be availed by PBD delegates, who wish to participate as members of an Indian Association, Community organization or Professional organization. The registration fee will include meals (lunch and dinner at the Convention venue) during the event period. Delegates can pick up their PBD I Cards from the special counters set up at the PBD Convention venue from 8 January 2025.
Step by step Registration procedure is as follows:
Step 1: Delegates need to register/make their profile with basic details. It has a two factor authentication system where OTP will be sent to the delegates registered email ID for creation of the PBD Profile.
Step 2: After Profile creation delegates are requested to log in to their profile (autogenerated password was sent on registered Email ID). A dashboard with view application would appear. Delegates are requested to go to the said page and click on new applications. (Registered applications can be viewed here as well)
Step 3: Delegates can register as a group or as Individuals. They can also register as self or for others as well. For group registrations there is a group bracket of 05-50 members with minimum 05 members For group registration it is mandatory that the group coordinator uploads the details of all the members of the group attending the PBD convention (by using the add members tab).
Step 4: After registering as a Group or Individual with all the relevant details, the delegates are requested to proceed towards payment section immediately or can log back in at a later date. In the payments section delegates are requested to select the days they will be attending the PBD Convention. Kindly note once payment is made from a profile, the dates cannot be modified and there is no refund of the payment made in case of cancellation.
The Ministry of External Affairs, India along with the Odisha Government, has catalogued a list of Hotels from 3 star and above for the Indian Diaspora Members for their stay in Bhubaneswar, Odisha for the 18th PBD Convention, 2025. PBD Delegates are requested to go through the accommodation tab on the PBD website carefully and follow the given instructions to book their accommodations.
Delegates are also advised to book their accommodations well in advance as there are limited number of accommodations in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
On arrival, you are requested to please contact the Help Desk for PBD Delegates & Special Invitees at Bhubaneswar Airport. These Help Desks are managed by Odisha Tourism, and will guide you to the shuttle services available from Indore airport to your hotel.
Information and travel desk representatives will be there on stand-by to further assist you on your arrival. They will also brief you regarding the transportation arrangements made during the event days.
